Recourse provides a range of services to help anyone who works in FE and HE.

Support Line

We provide a free telephone Support Line for all workers in Further and Higher Education in England, Wales and Scotland. The Support Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Coaching and Counselling

Coaching and Counselling are available over the phone from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year.

Money Management and Grants

We can help you take control of your finances problems with debt counselling from our money management team. Additionally some teachers may be eligible to receive financial assistance.

Cutler Trust Scholarships

Teacher Support Network and Recourse have 12 scholarships of £500 available in 2013, on behalf of the Cutler Trust, to assist young people with their education. The deadline for 2013 applications is 12pm on Friday 30 August 2013.

Information and Signposting

Our phone coaches can help you find out information on a range of issues about teaching and being a teacher. If we don't have the answer to your problem, we will point you in the direction of other organisations that may be able to help.

Advice Centre

We have an Advice Centre with articles, tips and help on a large range of issues and a new Practical Guide to Time Management for FE & HE professionals to download.

Helping UCU Reps

Complementing the trade union support UCU gives to its members, Recourse (formerly College and University Support Network) offers round-the-clock telephone and online support to all staff working in adult, further and higher education. All services are free and completely confidential.
